Every feed needs to know which form holds the recipients and which field contains their addresses. This step defines the audience for your campaign.
Target Form #
- Select the Gravity Form that stores the entries of the people you want to contact.
- The plugin will pull email addresses from this form whenever the feed runs.
- Example: If you want to message all donors, choose your “Donations” form.
If you leave the target form blank, the feed won’t gather recipients from form entries. In CSV-only campaigns (Premium), recipients are collected from the uploaded CSV instead.
Email Field #
- Pick the email field inside the chosen target form.
- This tells the plugin exactly where to look for addresses.
- If a form has multiple email fields, you can select the one that fits the campaign (e.g., “Parent Email” vs. “Student Email”).
Tips #
- Be Specific: Double-check that you selected the correct form and field — mistakes here can lead to empty batches or the wrong audience. After saving, the feed will also display an estimated batch size based on current entries, which helps confirm that you configured everything correctly and are targeting the right audience.
- Consistent Forms: Use clear field labels in your forms so it’s easy to find the right email field later.
Choosing the right target form and email field ensures your campaign goes to the right audience every time.
