Unsubscribe Settings (Free Version)

The Unsubscribe Settings panel appears directly below the Email Batch Management section and controls whether to include an unsubscribe link in all outgoing Mass Email Notifications.

This feature is entirely optional. By default, the plugin does nothing—emails are sent as usual without any unsubscribe link or footer. If you prefer not to include an unsubscribe link, simply leave the default option selected.

Method Options #

The panel includes a simple two-option toggle:

  • Do nothing (default) – Leaves all outgoing emails unchanged. No unsubscribe link is added.
  • Add unsubscribe link to all emails – Appends a small footer to every Mass Email Notification.
The default text reads: “To stop receiving these emails, unsubscribe.”

When a recipient clicks this link, they’re redirected to a generic confirmation page stating that they’ve been unsubscribed. This landing page is intentionally simple and cannot be customized in the free version.

Viewing Unsubscribed Recipients #

Clicking View Unsubscribed opens the Unsubscribed modal.
This list displays all addresses that have clicked the unsubscribe link and been marked as unsubscribed.

The table shows the following columns:

  • Email – the address that unsubscribed.
  • Global Status – indicates if the address is globally unsubscribed.
  • Feeds – empty in the free version.
  • Updated – shows when the change occurred.

A note appears below the table:

“This list is read-only in the free version.”

Free users cannot remove or edit these entries. Once a recipient unsubscribes, they remain unsubscribed unless you upgrade to the premium version.

Behavior Summary #

  • The unsubscribe footer appears only if the option is enabled.
  • The link applies globally to all outgoing mass emails.
  • The landing page and unsubscribe list are generated automatically—no configuration required.
  • You can safely leave this feature disabled if you prefer to manage unsubscribes manually or through other tools.

Enabling it is an easy way to stay compliant and build trust with recipients, even if you use the default, non-customizable version.
