If batches stop mid‑send, you may have hit the caps defined in Global Settings.
Minute / Hour Caps #
- When the per‑minute or per‑hour limit is reached, all batches pause.
- No further emails are sent until the next minute or hour window.
- Once the window resets, sending resumes automatically.
Day / Month Caps #
- Hitting the per‑day or per‑month limit pauses all batches until the next reset.
- No emails are sent past your defined threshold.
- At the daily reset (either midnight or a rolling 24-hour window) or your chosen reset day (monthly), batches automatically continue.
Backoff Behavior #
- Batches remain marked “In Progress.”
- They don’t fail or disappear — they simply wait.
- Cron resumes them as soon as the reset opens.
What to Do #
- Check Global Settings to confirm your limits.
- If you regularly hit caps, consider raising them slightly (but stay under your provider’s real limits).
- Enter values conservatively to leave room for other site emails.
This pause‑and‑resume system keeps you compliant with provider rules and ensures no recipients are skipped, only delayed.
