Schedule Batches for a Future Date

(Premium only)

Instead of sending immediately, you can schedule batches to go out on specific dates. This feature lets you plan campaigns ahead of time and spread them across multiple scheduled days.

How It Works #

  1. Add Date Fields: Place one or more date fields on your control form.
  2. Select Date Field(s) in Feed: In the feed settings, choose which date field(s) should control scheduling.
  3. Submit the Control Form: When submitted, the plugin creates the batch and assigns it to all dates specified in the selected fields.
  4. Scheduled Status: The batch remains in “scheduled” status until the chosen date arrives.
  5. Processing: On each scheduled date, the batch is processed by cron, following your global throttling rules.

Notes #

  • Multiple Dates: If more than one date is provided, the batch will be scheduled for each of them.
  • Visibility: You can see scheduled batches in the batch manager, where they stay until processing.

By tying batch schedules to date fields on your control form, you can plan recurring or future campaigns without manual intervention.
